TAWA PIZZA

Servings : 2

Prepare flour (approx 30g) as per instructions on the back of the pack. You can add some shredded cheese into the dough to make it extra crispy and cheesy.Roll out the pizza base in desired shape and size. For best result, roll out dough as thin as possible. Using a fork, evenly poke multiple indentations on the pizza base.On a preheated (non-stick) tawa, and lightly cook one side of the pizza base. Take off heat and use the cooked side to apply your favorite low-carb/keto marinara or Pizza sauce.Add your favorite toppings and cheese. For a crispy base – add some oil/ghee or butter to the tawa before placing the pizza back on.Cover the tawa with a lid and allow to cook on medium to low heat. Check the base periodically, and remove from heat once base is golden brownCut into pieces and enjoy!

Servings : 4

Take 30g Nutribarn Flour and add 2 tsp oil, ½ tsp salt and 16g (3 tsp) water and knead into a dough.Roll out pooris to the desired size. For best result, do not roll the pooris too thin.Deep fry the poori in oil.Tip: For masala poori, add ½ tsp of chilli powder and pinch of turmeric powder (haldi)

Servings : 2

Take 1 ¼ cup sprouted green Moong and blend it in the mixer till coarse.Transfer the moong mixture into a deep bowl and add 2 tbsp Nutribarn Flour, 2 tbsp finely chopped mint leaves (phudina), ¼ tsp garlic paste, ¼ tsp ginger paste, ½ tsp green chilli paster and salt to taste. Mix well.Heat oil in a deep pan and drop spoonful of the mixture using your finger and deep-fry on medium heat till golden brown.Serve hot and enjoy with corriander chutney

SAMOSA

Servings : 4

To make the perfect Keto/Low-carb Samosas, take 30g Nuribarn Flour and add 6 grams of vegetable oil, ⅓ tsp salt and 18ml (3 ½ tsp) of water and kned it into a dough (You may add other condiments as per taste)Roll out dough into desired size wraps. For best results keep the wrap size to medium and do not roll it too thin.Using a knife, cut the wrap into half to make a semi circle and join the straight edge into half to make a cone.Using a spoon, fill the cone with your favorite samosa filling. To keep it low/carb or keto friendly, use paneer and cheese with vegetables insted of potatoes. You can also fill with egg or meats. Do not over fill the samosa.Using wet fingers seal the opening of the pocket by moistning the edges of the samosa wrap.Heat oil in a deep pan and deep-fry samosas on medium heat till golden brown.Serve hot and enjoy with corriander chutney or sugarfree ketchup

Our Journey

Nutribarn was created to address a gap in the market – for quality Low-Carb and Keto Foods that were functional yet tasted as good as their high-carb counterpart. It all started with the basics – what is the food that we eat everyday that contributes to the largest chunk of carbohydrates (glucose) in our diet? The answer was simple – the flour we eat. So we got to work developing a flour that not only tastes great and is versatile, but also one that nutritionally ticks all the checks all the boxes. After hundreds of trials, we developed a product that is Low in Carbohydrates and Fat yet high in Protein and Fibre.

Using that flour as a base we started testing and pushing its potential. We created nacho chips that are so yummy you’d forget you’re on a diet, then we had a break through with creating Noodles and Pasta. The Noodles and Pasta are so taste Identical that you would be forgiven to think they are made of wheat. From there we created Orzo Rice and a Bread Pre-mix. Eggless Chocolate sponge cake Pre-mix can fool anyone – it is so decadent!

Our next Break through was with High-Fibre Rice. Our researchers were able to cut 75% of the carbs from regular Rice – making one of the most staple food ingredients that is typically starchy and High-Carb – a low-carb option.

Our newest offering of Bhakarwadi is one to die for. Bringing one of India’s favorite snacks to be low-carb was no mean feat – but we did it anyway.
